What We Do
Initial Meeting & Assessment
All new learners begins with a comprehensive initial meeting and assessment. During this session, we work closely with the family and child to understand their goals, challenges, and specific needs. This assessment allows us to create a detailed roadmap, highlighting key objectives and desired outcomes that will serve as the foundation of the program. By gaining this in-depth insight, we can ensure that all skills and strategies are relevant to the child’s daily life, providing an effective learning experience for all involved.
Programs
Here at Small Steps, we understand that every child is unique and therefore make it our priority to develop personalised, evidence-based programs designed to support children of all ages; from preschoolers to school-aged children and beyond. Each child’s program is tailored to fit their individual needs, strengths, and developmental goals, whether they’re just starting in a classroom setting or navigating the challenges of life outside of school. Our approach combines proven Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques with a compassionate, child centred focus.
