Our teaching approach integrates the science and technology of ABA, offering evidence-based strategies that are essential in helping your child make positive progress. ABA is a fundamental component of our programmes.
The VB-based ABA approach is at the heart of what we do. It puts the focus on making teaching fun and meaningful, and promoting lasting and generalisable learning by teaching in real world situations. The VB approach prioritises communication and empowers leaners to express themselves and connect with their world.
We understand the importance of fostering a positive and supportive environment for individuals who are experiencing behavioural challenges. Our behaviour support programmes are guided by the core values of PBS, which include enhancing quality of life and teaching alternative skills that are useful to the learner. All of our recommendations will be individualised and supported by robust scientific evidence.
We prioritise the dignity and autonomy of every child. Our assent-informed approach to ABA ensures that your child's preferences and choices are respected throughout their learning journey. We believe in teaching children that their "no" matters and that they have the power to make decisions about their own lives.
We celebrate the unique strengths and abilities of each child, embracing neurodiversity as a source of richness and diversity in the human experience. Our programmes recognise and respect the individuality of every child while firmly rejecting ableism and discrimination against individuals with neurodevelopmental differences.
We work collaboratively with other professionals, including schools and our colleagues from the speech and language and occupational therapy professions, to create a seamless and comprehensive support system for your child. We understand that teamwork is essential to promote change that generalises outside of home to school and community settings.
